Over the last few years, a variety of theories have sought to describe the impact of the information revolution on international relations and security. This book examines these theories as a framework for analyzing emerging information age conflicts (IAC). By using Operation Allied Force in Kosovo as a case study, the author identifies those issues that substantially influence the successful managing and waging of IACs, as well as those factors that are likely to pose problems for decision makers. In addition, the author considers the impact these developments are likely to have on military affairs, politics, and society, as well as the nature of information age threats to international security.
