This collection of monthly security statistics contextualizes the ‘headline figures’ spilling out of the UN’s efforts to create a new global migration regime. The featured graphs 1) contrast the increase in human migration to the rise in global population; 2) compare South-North versus South-South migration flows in 1965 and 2015; 3) highlight intraregional migration flows; and 4) identify where the migrants are going, both in the past and currently.
