This paper investigates the features of Russia–South Africa relations in the context of their BRICS and the G-20 membership. The authors conclude that economic collaboration between Russia and South Africa is very limited and suggest that Russia strengthen its economic ties with South Africa to improve the BRICS position within the G20.
