This paper examines the impact of the green growth agenda on Brazil’s domestic policies, its participation in the G-20, and its coordination with the other BRICS. It describes the evolution of the debate on sustainable development and the green economy in Brazil, and the main policy trade-offs as perceived by the policymakers and stakeholders. The paper concludes with a discussion of the external face of Brazilian approaches to the green growth agenda.
