This brief discusses the EU's role in supporting security and stability in Somalia. It also looks at how this involvement could be affected by UN Security Council Resolution 2124, which calls for an increase in the number of African Union Mission troops in Somalia and to allow the Somali National Army access to the UN logistical support package for joint SNA-AMISOM operations.
