This commentary looks at the actions Qatar is taking to promote pan-Arabism as part of its foreign policy. These include 1) the creation of the satellite channel al Jazeera; 2) diplomatic efforts to promote the establishment of a Palestinian state, and 3) supporting Islamic groups across the region.
