This paper discusses the results of the 2014 Moldovan parliamentary elections as well as the political and economic circumstances which may have influenced them. The author points out that although the country's pro-European coalition was elected to 55 out of the country's 101 parliamentary seats, the voting system is skewed slightly in their favor, and that in the popular vote they came neck and neck with the left wing opposition.
