This Alert evaluates the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia, to include the interplay of three stakeholders -- Russia, the EU and the Armenian people. With the latter seemingly shifting their hopes towards the EU, the new government – regardless of its composition – will most likely have to 1) balance its foreign policy interests between Russia, the EU and Turkey, and 2) maintain the political status quo.
