This brief explores how migration, tourism and terrorism are increasingly overlapping with each other. More specifically, the text's author contends that Western governments and businesses established a particular model of economic development which they then rolled out to the rest of the world. Although the model once led to dissent followed by progress, that pattern has now broken down, as manifested by the terrorism-migration-tourism nexus.
