This text focuses on the EU’s preventive diplomacy (PD) efforts in the Indo-Pacific region. It specifically looks at 1) the overall role of PD in the EU; 2) the takeaways from Nepal, the Korean Peninsula, and other case studies; and 3) speculative scenarios that highlight the promises and pitfalls of the preventive diplomacy approach.
