For example, implementing the ‘America First Energy Plan’ will most likely put downward pressure on global oil and gas prices, and thereby compound Russia’s recent economic woes. Additionally, if the US focuses more time and resources on China, it will inevitably put Russia in a more complicated position between the two countries.
