Publication

Jun 2007

The publication discusses the erosion of structural interdependence between Russia and Central Asia in the oil and gas sectors from 2000 to 2006. It examines the future development of cooperation between the players and clash of energy interests that could cause regional and international problems. The report argues that it would be useful to create a Shanghai Cooperation Organization energy market based on the grouping EurAsEC + China + Turkmenistan.
