The Defence Academy’s Research & Assessment Branch (R&AB) provides for the harvesting of ideas, expertise, experience and evidence relevant to defense and security from across a broad and multi-disciplinary field to provide relevant and timely research of high quality to the UK Ministry of Defense. The Central Asian Series includes publications on topics such as the economic and security relations between China and neighboring countries, regional non-proliferation in Central Asia, energy security and post-conflict reconstruction in the region.
