This text examines the unfolding consequences of Turkey’s booming refugee population, many of whom are likely to settle in the country permanently. Given this probability, the paper’s author argues that the Turkish government needs to formulate integration and education policies that will effectively accommodate the 1.3 million Syrian children now residing within its borders.
