This book focuses on the transatlantic security rift during the presidency of George W Bush as well as the outlook for NATO on the heels of enlargement in late March 2004. It also looks at the state of EU-NATO relations in 2003-2004, explores the unique attributes of Finnish defense policy at a time of European military transformation, surveys the post-2002 reform agenda of the Croatian armed forces in the country's bid to join NATO, and presents two Estonian perspectives on EU enlargement.
