This Journal issue presents several papers that address issues related to NATO's Partnership for Peace program. The papers look at questions of defense education, the defense policy of the Czech Republic and its predecessor Czechoslovakia and NATO's missile defense strategy. Further topics include the Strategic Arms Control Treaty (START) and the influence of the neoconservative movement on US foreign policy.
