Publication

The articles in this issue of the Baltic Security and Defence Review range from outlines of strategic concepts to analyses of national experiences in current operations. On strategy, the articles include analysis of Sun Tzu's principles of strategy and how aspects of his and other strategic theories might be applied to modern conflicts and to Sweden's current strategic defence policy. Further articles discuss military higher education in Israel, lessons learnt by the Netherlands' armed forces following WWI, and experiences gained in overseas deployments.
