This report first reviews the impact of the most recent US-led Revolution in Military Affairs, which introduced mature stealth and precision strike capabilities in the 1990s. But what about the future? What adjustments will the US military and others have to make in their operational concepts, organizational structures and technologies as far out as 2050? The report subsequently tries to answer these questions even while admitting that such prognostications are tricky at best.
