This report discusses the strategic challenges faced by the US Army. It provides an assessment of how the Army might best organize itself to address the strategic challenges — the Long War with Islamist terrorist groups, a more proliferated world, and a rising China — which are most likely to dominate senior US national security decision-makers’ attention over the next decade or two.
