This paper examines the EU's space-related policies and activities. The author also examines 1) the increasingly congested, contested and competitive environment in space; 2) the state of international governance of space-related activities; and 3) how the EU can optimize its space-related activities and policy to improve the conditions for global economic growth as well as to improve the international security environment.
