This report does indeed discuss the vulnerability of the Côte d’Ivoire religious radicalization. Given its mixture of Christian Pentecostal movements, competing branches of Islam, and a Shiite Lebanese diaspora with well-established ties to Hezbollah, the country's vulnerability to religious radicalism is real enough, especially given its long-simmering political, military, socio-economic and identity problems. The report closes with necessary recommendations on how to mitigate the risks associated with this problem.
