This paper answers three questions about EU citizens’ attitudes towards nuclear weapons, especially those who are 30 years old or below. First, is there decreasing popular knowledge about the danger of nuclear weapons? Second, is there decreasing concern about and interest in the issue? And last, is there continued and sufficient tacit support for current government policies? The text’s authors conclude that the answer to all three questions is no.
