This report examines South Africa’s current economic and foreign relations and presents a set of broad priorities to help guide the country following Jacob Zuma’s tenure as president. The priorities include 1) maintaining a continent-wide perspective in South African affairs; 2) sustaining strong relations with important trading and investment partners, not just the BRIC countries; 3) expanding business relations with India, and more.
