This report focuses on the lowest and most common form of dispute resolution in two parts of Myanmar – the Mon State and Yangon region. More specifically, the text zeros in on 1) the crimes and injustices that people experience in these areas; 2) the methods they use to resolve them, and why; and 3) the quality of the justice they manage to achieve.
