Publication

Dec 2007

The publication provides insights into the security situation in the aftermath of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), based on information from surveys carried out in Jonglei, Sudan. The author argues that results of the survey confirm widespread violent victimization in the region since the CPA. It concludes there is a gap between residents' perception of improved security and challenges encountered in the disarmament process.
