This paper examines British democratization policy. The author discusses the link between the two spheres of domestic and foreign policy in Britain, and their implications for the country's role in sponsoring values of freedom, justice and tolerance on an international scale. Specifically, the export of British democratic ideals, or Blair's 'moral force', is examined through the perspective of those who have approached it with one foot in the United Kingdom's parliamentary democracy and the other in some of the world's more resilient and oppressive systems; namely, members of the Arab diaspora in Britain.
