The European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) is a think tank specialized in Euro-Mediterranean relations. It is a center for discussion and debate which aims to encourage actions and projects contributing to mutual understanding, exchanges and cooperation between different Mediterranean countries, societies and cultures. The IEMed-EuroMeSCo Papers are a set of research papers on political and security issues in the Mediterranean and on the state of Euro-Mediterranean relations, with special focus on political, socio-economic and cultural aspects. They are analytical papers but with a clear practical approach to generate political proposals.
